These Terms govern your access to and use of the website https://modelescape.co.uk/ and any services offered by Model Escape ("we", "us", "our"). By using our site or services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are

Model Escape is a model support service based in the United Kingdom. We are not a traditional modelling agency and do not guarantee representation or work. Contact: info@modelescape.co.uk.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old, or have verified parental/guardian consent if under 18.
• You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.

3. Our services

We provide assessment shoots, portfolio support, workshops, mentorship and aftercare. Deliverables, timelines and prices may vary by package and availability.

4. No agency, no guarantee

• We are not an employment agency or employment business.
• We do not promise auditions, bookings, income or representation.
• Any examples of outcomes are illustrative only.

5. Bookings, payments and refunds

1. Quotes and payment. Prices are stated in GBP and include taxes where indicated. Payment methods and due dates will be provided at time of booking.
2. Rescheduling. You may request to reschedule with reasonable notice; fees may apply if the venue or crew have been confirmed.
3. Cancellations. If you cancel after resources are allocated or work has started, we may retain a reasonable portion to cover costs. Where UK consumer law provides a cooling-off period for distance purchases, that right applies unless services have begun at your request.
4. No-shows and late arrival. Missed or severely delayed attendance may be treated as a cancellation.
5. Refund assessment. Refunds (if any) are assessed case-by-case and exclude completed work and third-party costs.

6. Portfolios, images and licences

• Unless otherwise stated in writing, you receive a personal, non-transferable licence to use delivered images for self-promotion as a model (e.g., portfolio, comp/Z-card, e-book, social media), subject to photographer credit where reasonably practicable.
• Commercial use beyond self-promotion (e.g., advertising for a brand) may require additional permissions from the photographer, studio, makeup artists and any third parties.
• We may display non-sensitive work samples in our marketing (site, social, brochures). You can opt out by writing to us before the shoot or at delivery.

7. Your responsibilities

• You are responsible for your conduct, punctuality and compliance with venue rules.
• You must not upload or share unlawful, defamatory, infringing or abusive content.
• You confirm you have consent to share any third-party personal data you provide to us.

8. Health, safety and suitability

Your participation is voluntary. Inform us of any medical conditions, accessibility needs or safeguarding requirements in advance so we can assess suitability and reasonable adjustments.

9. Intellectual property

• All site content, branding and materials are owned by us or our licensors and protected by law.
• You must not copy, distribute or adapt our materials except as permitted by law or licence.

10. User content

Where you submit testimonials, images or feedback, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use that content for marketing and service improvement, unless you withdraw consent in writing.

11. Acceptable use of the website

• No scraping, data-mining, reverse engineering or security probing.
• No uploading malware or attempting to disrupt the service.
• No impersonation or misrepresentation.

12. Third-party links and venues

Our site may link to third-party sites and we may use third-party studios or freelancers. We are not responsible for their content, terms or policies.

13. Privacy and cookies

14. Disclaimers

• The site and services are provided "as is" and "as available".
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free operation.
• Career outcomes depend on factors outside our control.

15. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or lost profits. Our aggregate liability for paid services is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant service. Nothing excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.

16. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the site/services.

17. Changes to services or Terms

We may update services, pricing and these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

18. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe there is a breach, risk of harm, unlawful activity or non-payment. Your accrued obligations and our rights survive termination.

19. Force majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to strikes, epidemics, extreme weather, utility failures or government action.

20. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory local law provides otherwise for consumers.

21. Complaints and alternative dispute resolution

If you have a complaint, contact info@modelescape.co.uk. If we cannot resolve it, you may have access to alternative dispute resolution (ADR) or the UK ODR platform where applicable.

22. Entire agreement

These Terms, together with any booking confirmation and written service description, form the entire agreement between you and us regarding the services.

23. Severability

If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
